POST TREATMENT HOME CARE PERSCRIPTIVE: for Acne Prone Skin
The DMK Acu System Kit is designed to address acne-prone and congested skin. Formulated to improve congestion from acne-prone skin.
Here are the general steps for applying products in the DMK Acu System Kit.
After receiving a customized DMK Enzyme Facial Treatment, it's essential to follow specific post-treatment care instructions to maximize the benefits and maintain your skin's health.
Your DMK Skin Revision Kit provides a 20 - 30 day supply of DMK Skin Care Home Precriptives. The Acu System Kit assists in balancing oil production and killing bacteria. These products penetrate the pores to kill existing p. acnes bacteria while preventing further breakouts.
MORNING ROUTINE ✨☀️
Step 1: Cleanse skin with ACU Cleanser 🌿
This cleanser is specifically designed for acne-prone skin and helps remove impurities, excess oil, and makeup.
Wet your face with lukewarm water. Apply a small amount of AUC Klenz Cleansing Gel to your fingertips and gently massage it onto your face and neck in circular motions working up and out. Rinse thoroughly with warm water and pat your face dry with a clean towel.. You can use ACU Klenz Cleansing Gel morning and night without stripping the skin.
Step 2: ACU Mist 🌱
Acu Mist contains aloe and plant extracts that help to normalize the skin’s acid mantle specifically for acne-prone. After cleansing. Spray or apply the mist to a cotton pad and gently swipe it across your face. This helps balance your skin's pH and prepares it for the next steps.
Step 3: Spot Treat (Where needed) with ACU Klear
Acu Klear uses salicylic acid to kill acne bacteria and dry up active acne blemishes.
Use the DMK Acu Klear Spot Treatment on individual blemishes or areas prone to acne.
Apply a small amount directly to the affected areas. DO NOT use if you are nursing or lactating.
Step 4: Acu Moist Lotion+ SPF 15
Acu Moist is a gentle moisturizing lotion ideally suited for anyone experiencing over-drying caused by acne treatments. Designed to help maintain hydration and support your skin's balance.
Apply a dime sized amount of Acu Moist to face and neck and spread gently spead evenly across the skin.
ADDITIONAL SKIN CARE RECOMMENDED (NOT included in AUC System Kit)
Step 5: 🛡️☀️ SPF Protection with DMK Sunscreen SPF 30 Sunscreen is crucial for protecting your skin from harmful effects of UV radiation, sunburn, premature aging and skin cancer. Especially following a DMK Enzyme Therapy Treatment.
Dispense an small amount of DMK Sunscreen SPF 30 onto your fingertips. You'll want enough to cover your entire face, neck, and exposed areas (ears, eyelids, jawline) Dot the suncreeen evenly onto your forehead, cheeks, nose, chin and neck. Spread gently and evenly across the face and neck using upward and outward motions. Apply carefully around the eye contours without getting it into your eyes.
Apply sunscreen daily, even on cloudy days. Remember, Sunscreens effectiveness diminishes over time, especially with sun exposure and activities like swimming or sweating. It's essential to carry sunscreen with you on the go and reapply sunscreen at least every two hours when exposed to sunlight and UV rays.
Step 6: Matify Sebaceous Oil with Actrol Powder (NOT included in ACU System Kit)
Actrol is a specialized powder containing sulfur and other ingredients designed to target and treat acne breakouts. Actrol Powder absorbs oil without dehydrating the skin. Formulated to help reduce sebaceous oil flow, reduce moisture and create and antibacterial seal. Using a dry fan brush, lightly dust the entire face and neck. Apply last after DMK serums, oils, crèmes and transdermal sunblock. Actrol Powder can also be dusted over the top of moisturizer and used as a translucent setting powder over makeup.
EVENING ROUTINE 🌙
The skin goes through a natural repair and regeneration process at night, know as the circadian rhythm. This is when cell turnover and collagen production tend to be more active. Using deeper more penetrating active ingredients at night can leverage this natural process and maximize their effectiveness.

Step 4: Mask with Actrol Powder (NOT included in ACU System Kit)
Actrol Powder absorbs oil without dehydrating the skin. Formulated to help reduce sebaceous oil flow, reduce moisture and create and antibacterial seal.
In the evening : Use it as a post extraction treatment or as a mask.
Use as a Mask: (Once or Twice per week)
To create a Mask: Mix a small amount of the powder with a few drops of water or (Acu Mist) to create a paste (the consistency should be thick but spreadable) Apply the paste directly to the affected areas, directly to blemishes or congested areas using a clean cotton swab or a clean fingertip. Leave on for 3-5 minutes. Start with a shorter duration and gradually increase the time as your skin learns to tolerate it. Rinse off the Actrol Powder with lukewarm water. Spot Treat with ACU Therm (When needed)
Step 5: Spot Treat (Where needed) with ACU Therm
ACU Therm is a warming lotion that is used in combination with Actrol Powder to enhance its effects. ACU Therm a spot treatment for pustules to help puss and bactera come to a head.
ACU Therm addresses those swollen impacted pores that feel like cysts beneath the skin.
After rinsing off the Actrol Mask, apply a small amount of ACU Therm to the same affected areas you applied the Actrol Mask. Lightly massage the Acu Therm into the skin or area until fully absorbed.
Step 6: Acu Moist Lotion

Apply a dime sized amount of Acu Moist to face and neck and spread gently nad evenly across the skin.
NOTES: Take your time building your skin care supply. Skin care doesn't have to be overly complicated or expensive. This starter kit will help you learn the basic fundamental steps of treating the skin. Your DMK Skin Revision Specialist will help you build from this baseline at your pace and budget. We recommend purchasing the full size products for longevity and consistency. Keep in mind, you will deplete your skin care supply at different times so replenishing products will not occur all at once. Plan to replenish (1-2) products per month during your monthly maintenance visit.
The condition of the skin is ever changing therefore your home care percriptives will change over time as well. Your DMK Skin Revision Specialist will make new product recommendation and introduce new protocols as your skin condition improves and new goals are obtained.
Remember, skincare results can vary person to person, so be patient and give the product time to work. It may take several weeks to see noticeable results from a new routine. Consistency is KEY. Execute your Morning & Evening Regime every day to achieve best results.
If you experience any irritation or adverse reaction, discontinue use and contact your esthetician. We may need to introduce serums gradually as we rebuild the skin barrier and avoid overloading the skin.
